Watching the sun rise on Morro rock, one of the nine sisters and one of SLO counties seven wonders, makes me dig around for a ball point pen and piece of paper. Seen elsewhere on the web it’s a striking sight. It’s weathered waves and blasting, which was stopped in 1963. It is the site of the oldest known acorn grinding station in California. It’s also home for peregrine falcons and offers a decent amount of parking.
