Having done a blognails post, next up was a post about how to make blognails in WordPress. This covered the what and how of blognails, but why? It’s not that complicated, a blognails post is a visual meta-post that allows readers to quickly see content in an iconic form. It may be non-obvious, like a drawing of a lemon, or pretty obvious, like a cut-out stencil of Chuck Close. But basically, it roughly doubled the page views for the post date and continues to spread the in-bound traffic for visitors that arrive via the blognails post. Kind of like a wake. Otherwise I think another good reason to do a blognails post is that in my lenticular opinion they look cooler than some of the other options out there for increasing page views.
